StephenMac63:  What Could Happen if Iran had a Regime Change?

We could surmise that they will either be positive or negative results but since the country is in the Negative category we could only assume that it will be positive. So, let's dive in and see what the possibilities are.

First, we need to set aside our thoughts and opinions that we created by receiving second-hand opinions throughout the years and look at the country for what it is.

Iran, currently is a Theocracy country. Theocracy is defined, according to the internet, as "a system of government in which priests rule in the name of God or a god." There are 7 countries in the world that have Theocracy as their form of government...Yemen, Vatican City, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Iran, and Afghanistan. Vatican City has the smallest population of around 1000 while Iran has the largest population of 82.9 million.

The current political/religious landscape in Iran was created in 1979, resulting from the overthrow of what is known publically as "The Shah". The term "Shah" is an abbreviation of "Shahanshah". It is a title. The man who had this title was named Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.

When the overthrow happened in 1979, the Pahlavi family was forced to exile. The family members included Mohammad's wife, Farah. His oldest son, Reza Pahlavi. His youngest son, Ali- Reza Pahlavi, Mohammed's daughter Leila Pahlavi. Mohammed also had a daughter from a first marriage. Mohammed wanted a Prince to carry the name in his first marriage with Princess Fawzia of Egypt but was not successful therefore a divorce resulted. Her name was Shanaz.

Mohammed's wife, Farah, is living in Europe and has traveled the world promoting the Arts, Goodwill and even created a foundation for Alzheimers Research.

Mohammed's daughter, Leila, on Sunday 10 June 2001, Leila was found dead in her room in the Leonard Hotel in London just before 19:30 BST by her doctor.

Mohammed's youngest son, Ali-Reza Pahlavi, couldn't handle the loss of identity and the loss of his sister, who committed suicide in 2011.

This leaves the oldest son, the Crown Prince of Iran, Reza Pahlavi. Let's take a look at what he has done since the exile.

He has been an outspoken critic of the current regime and has traveled extensively throughout the world contacting various country leaders. Reza also created National Council of Iran which promotes Free Elections, Woman's Rights and something that a theocracy country would never do.........separation of religion and state. He is also a trained fighter pilot, by the USA, at the age of 17.

Enclosed is a link to his website and you can see for yourself of his dreams and desires.

After reading the various links, one can only imagine the changes that could happen in the country of Iran and throughout the Middle East should a regime change occur. There are several videos on Youtube that show the beauty of the country and its peoples.......its the government that's the problem.

Thanks for reading
