Tishwash: An official in the Prime Minister's Office reveals the fact that Al-Kazemi will go to Washington next week
Today, Thursday (30 July 2020), an official in the Prime Minister’s Office, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, revealed the fact that the Prime Minister is heading to the United States .of America next week
The official, who preferred not to be named, said in an interview with (Baghdad Today), "The information and news that spoke about Al-Kazimi's travel to the United States of America next week is inaccurate, so as of the time no date has . ".been fixed for this upcoming visit
And, "What is delaying the visit is the epidemiological situation due to the spread of the Corona virus in America, especially as it is on the rise, and this is why conducting the second round of strategic dialogue between Baghdad and Washington, perhaps through the closed-circuit television between Iraqi and ." Al-Kazemi had visited, last week, a visit to Iran, at the head of a high-level ministerial delegation, while his postponement, which was supposed to be the first visit to Saudi Arabia, was postponed after the health of the Saudi monarch, Salman .bin Abdulaziz link

Samson: Parliament: The government will not submit the 2020 budget for its preoccupation with reforms

The Parliamentary Finance Committee stated, on Wednesday, that the government started work on the reform program that is supposed to be presented to Parliament, by forming a committee of the three presidencies and all ministries, to form a council to review the entire economic file.
"The government may not submit the 2020 budget due to time constraints, and because it is now occupied by two overlapping major files: the 2021 budget and the reform program file," said Finance Committee member Jamal Cougar.
He added, "To achieve these two steps, the government is in the process of forming a committee from the candidates of the three authorities; the executive and the legislative branch with the judiciary, to present their visions in the interests of the reform and budget paragraphs." LINK
MilitiaMan: Well they surely will need the 2019 FML Amendment to do both. But, note they are speaking of the reform file. The entire economic reform file. Then that would mean to me they have to have a rate to associate the economic reform file to. They have the authorities at the highest levels being the executive, legislative and judiciary. I don’t think we can write off any particular day – there seems to be a push to get this done by the end of the month - which is Friday...I don’t know if that is going to be the case - it could be – there are things point to it happening kinda – like right away...I really believe we are that close to where we could go any day now...I believe we are within days...
