The President of the Republic Barham Saleh in the Palace of Peace in Baghdad in the meantime, a meeting with a number of heads of blocs and the judiciary and representatives of the Kurdistan Alliance to discuss several options, including the dismissal of the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi and the declaration of an emergency government.

A source familiar with the presidency said that the meeting began a hawala an hour from now to discuss meeting the demands of the demonstrators and a number of solutions, including the dismissal of the current government and the announcement of a government to lead the country in the transitionLINK

ChrisC:  If you really look at the situation, this could have been predicted but is even more bold than I had anticipated.  Remember the picture of him talking to Trump?  Wasn't it this very guy that Trump said we have some really important things to talk about in private?

Who is going to stop this?  Maybe the UN can stop it with their army, oh wait, they don't have an army.  Russia isn't, Iran can't, the people want it and the Iraqi army is with the people and they were trained by us and are our allies, not to mention the Peshmerga if needed.

I bet Trump had every person already picked for another govt., they just needed the people to make the choice of getting rid of the old one.  I told you these guys are masters of this move.  They come in and save the day and the people say "who was that masked man?".

Watch Maliki run now and every other Iranian plant.  Iran HAS to be sweating now.  Banks cut off, oil sales restricted, illegal cash flow stopping.  Cue sharpened Iranian pitchforks and torches.  IMO.

Samson:  US official: Baghdadi's body was identified by DNA analysis   LINK

Photoman57:  Ok, so here is my question. How long does it take to do a DNA test ?  I think this dude has been gone for awhile and the current situation gave a pefect/planned time to announce this.

Mike100:  the untimely demise of Al baghdadi i refuse to believe to be a mere coincidence, funny how one of the most sought after leaders of ISIS has been killed as we pull our troops out of syria and the planned protests occurring in Iraq alongside the ousting of the iranian puppet politicians in the GOI. Lets be real here does anyone truly believe we just killed this guy or has he been on ice for a while? timing of this ALL  is very interesting and has to make one think was this ALL planned out?

ChrisC:  This is why I didn't jump up and yell.  It smells like the Bin Laden raid.  I don't like to think of Trump pulling an Obama move, but he is a showman and business is business.  They needed ISIS majorly over and for other reasons I believed this would come right before this was over.  DNA isn't hard to match, but it is rather convenient there isn't any identifiable piece left apparently.  I would completely believe it if there had not been the reports from Russia and the stories of his capture in Aleppo last year.  There will never be any certainty.  At least this time I don't expect the capture team to have a helicopter crash and wipe them all out in a week or two.
