Money and business Economy News – Baghdad Today, Wednesday, MP Alia Nassif warned that the Iraqi state will have to pay large fines and compensation in millions of dollars to companies that have filed lawsuits against the Ministry of Transport.

And she added, "The other issue is the international arbitration submitted by another company due to the non-payment of its dues by the General Company for Air Navigation Services, which may lead to the payment of dues that may reach 20 million dollars despite the existence of a contract signed based on Cabinet Resolution 286 for the year 2021, and there is also another lawsuit (international arbitration) at the beginning of July to ask Iraq to pay compensation that may reach 255 million dollars due to violations committed by the Minister of Transport, which obliges the ministry to negotiate with a company in order to reach an amicable solution that protects public money, as well as many International arbitration lawsuits witnessed by all the Ministry’s formations.”
Nassif called on the "Integrity Commission to intervene and deal with this issue as a deliberate waste of public money, take legal measures against those who caused it, and seek to prevent the state treasury from assigning all these losses," noting that "one of the biggest problems that Iraq faces is the presence of failed ministers. They cost the state money and leave the ministry, leaving the state and the people mired in debt.” 185 . views Added 06/29/2022 - 10:55 AM Update 06/29/2022 - 6:05 PM

MZ: Article From Iraq: “Dollar Exchange rates are declining in Baghdad and the Kurdish region” Why is this important? Normally in the local markets they were holding onto US dollars because of the instability of the dinar. What we have seen in the past when we have been close and anticipating an exchange is they will start refusing to part with their dinar. Iran wants Al-Kazemi to remain in his position... and the leaders of the Coordination Framework meet with him in Tehran in the presence of Ismail Qaani!
29th June, 2022
Press sources learned, from an informed Iranian source, that representatives of the Iraqi Shiite "coordinating framework" forces and other Iraqi parties held a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, during his visit to Tehran, to discuss the political crisis in the country.
The source said that in light of the results of this meeting, the commander of the “Quds Force,” General Ismail Qaani, held a series of meetings with Iraqi parties, the last of which was a meeting with representatives of the “framework” in Tehran yesterday, during which he informed them that his country supports Al-Kazemi’s stay for a second term.
He added that Qaani stressed, in the meeting, that Al-Kazemi is not Tehran's preferred option, but his good relations with Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United States and Turkey make him "the best possible", especially since the region may be heading for calm, and Al-Kazemi may play a role in this context.
According to the source, Qaani asked to try to satisfy Muqtada al-Sadr and his movement in any way possible. LINK

Sir: IMO - This is the best article that has come out in 2022!
Somebody gave the green light ( Kazemi ) for the above. Meaning some ( most ) higher up rats are going to be paid a visit ( sleepless night for the next week or so).
IMO-the next Iraqi government is going to be very limited in size ( micro small) and this will end the corruption that we see today and from many years past. There have been many articles about the arrest of little rats, now it’s time for the big rats.
We know that in December 2020 that the budget (+ new rate) for 21~23 was set. Frank stated that they are working with a second set of books, why ? To maybe keep the rats from stealing the people of Iraq’s money more than the have been?
It’s pretty obvious that this is happening to governments around the world, stepping down, Israel being the latest! So be just a little more patient, the hands of the rats must be removed from the cookie jars before we see publicly the rate change.
Kazemi is in total control, in fact I believe that behind closed doors he has been dancing a lot, every time these rats open their mouths. He is showing the people of Iraq just how incompetent and corrupt these rats are.
They sure are making Kazemi’s job a whole lot easier. Just food for thought, most of the articles are smoke and mirrors IMO of course.

Starting To Return A New Meal Of Their Voided Contracts To The Ministry Of Interior And Defense
Posted On2022-06-29 By Sotaliraq Baghdad/Bright news The Ministry of Interior is preparing to return a new batch of those whose contracts have been rescinded, those who fall under Paragraph (C) after completing all their requirements, foremost of which is the financial allocation, while the Ministry of Defense has raised the names of 35,000 of those whose contracts have been rescinded under the age of 40 in order to return them to service again.
This comes at a time when observers called for the political aspect to be removed from the file of their contracts, and to be placed within legal considerations.
A member of the Parliament’s Security and Defense Committee, Representative Yasser Iskandar Watut, said in a statement to (Al-Mada), that “the Ministry of Interior formed a committee to return their rescinded contracts, and under the deduction of two meals earlier.”
And he added, "The ministry had conducted tests on two meals under the name of paragraph (a) and paragraph (b), in 2019 and they were returned, but these procedures for those who joined the other paragraphs stopped after Iraq was exposed to the Corona epidemic."
He pointed out, "The financial allocation of those whose contracts were terminated had been suspended due to the financial crisis that accompanied the outbreak of the Corona pandemic after the drop in oil prices."
And between Watut, "The Ministry of the Interior resumed work again, and started with the third course under the name of Paragraph (C), to proceed with returning them to service after the financial allocation was provided."
And he went on to say, "The Ministry of Defense, on its part, has raised 35,000 of those whose contracts have been terminated, their names have been raised to the Ministry of Finance, provided that they are under 40 years of age in order to return them to service."
The Presidency of the House of Representatives had confirmed the inclusion of a paragraph regarding the return of their nullified contracts from the security and military agencies in the Emergency Support Law for Food Security and Development, which the House of Representatives voted on early this month, and this was preceded by a parliamentary signature campaign in order to secure the financial entitlement for those covered by paragraph (c) in the law.
For his part, the security expert, Ahmed Al-Sharifi, said in an interview with Al-Mada that “the issue of returning their nullified contracts, whether to the Ministry of Interior or Defense, needs a study and a decision issued by the same institution.”
Al-Sharifi warned against “subjecting these aspects to political considerations, because they are entitlements to the military and security establishment, and therefore it is necessary to examine whether the return of their rescinded contracts is in line with the governing regulations and laws.”
He stressed, "There are those who leaked at a time of war or crisis, and therefore the reasons for terminating the contract with the military or security component must be discussed before returning it again."
Al-Sharifi spoke about the importance of “granting the military and security institutions independence in performing their tasks and their functional role and keeping them away from political influence. As for the comprehensive return, it must be subject to the legal dimension. Is this procedure consistent with the law or against it?”
The country has witnessed continuous demonstrations of those whose contracts have been terminated in the Ministries of Defense and Interior and the Popular Mobilization in order to return them to service, demanding that financial allocation be provided to them, whether in the Federal Budget Law or the Emergency Support Law for Food Security and Development. Now – here’s the thing – we’ve been told for months that we are either running parallel with the bond holders – we are on a shot gun start with the bond holders – or we’re slowly behind or on the heels of the bond holders going –
Well the bond holders are apparently going to be made liquid tomorrow (Wed) by 11 am and we “should” be receiving our notifications shortly thereafter – it could be morning – it could be afternoon but it should be on the heels of the bond holders receiving their notifications tomorrow from their paymaster – at approximately 11 am
Now – obviously – I’m not calling it or saying it’s absolutely going to happen but this is what we’re being told from high ups in Wells Fargo and Chase – and other banks regarding the bonds – remember we had 50% of the bond holders that had received payouts already and notifications out of Zurich and Singapore but out of the United States which is really Reno - New York – and Miami – major action out of Miami and Reno – that information was started this morning at 4 am with notifications to the bond sellers –
So what we need now is recertification and confirmation that the bond holders have been paid which we should get tomorrow (Wed) if they do receive those notifications around 11 am – So – paymasters and bond buyers are coordinating now to complete everything on the purchasing of those bonds and then that should take it and make it a “done deal” so to speak by tomorrow morning around 11 am –
Now – maybe not all transactions will be complete but certainly we’re hearing that a majority of those transactions should be completed and should provide liquidity and access to those funds in those accounts in the sellers accounts when they receive the emails with access codes so that they can access those accounts and see the money in the accounts and have access to those accounts to spend those funds - so that is where that process is –
I think it’s really good that we’re hearing what we’re hearing about it – and I think it’s good that we’re hearing that we in tier 4A and 4B are on the heels of the bond holders which are tier 3 which are the bond holders getting access to funds
If all of that comes through according to plan – and they get their access to funds starting at 11 am then we should be looking to be notified sometime after that – I can’t tell you exactly when because we don’t have that – we weren’t given a time for tier 4B to be notified today – we don’t have it –
The trend then is for us to talk about getting notified in the early to midafternoon and then set appointments and then go exchange and redeem our zim the following day – that’s conceivable - that is possible – with what’s happening with the bonds and bond sellers – ok – that’s really good –
Now another thing - I’ve got two other things to talk about – one is on Sunday the Iraqi Dinar – the new Iraqi Dinar - sometimes they call it the NID – was placed on the banks screens for trading at 9 pm Sunday night – This was last Sunday – 2 nights ago – the Dinar came out at 68 cents ($.68) and by 11 am Monday it had traded up to $5.60 – it should be trading much higher than that now and should be trading on up to numbers that we had talked about that Dr Shabbibi had talked about – if you remember –
the numbers we talked about in the past at the International Chamber of Commerce Meeting – where Blue Star asked him what/how many Iraqi dinars could support – when it came out – and you remember what Dr Shabbibi said – I am hearing that we should be at that number or greater – ok – so we will see how that goes – it’s certainly on its way now and is being traded as we speak – right now –internationally – globally –
Now have all of the other countries that are gold backed – been placed on this for trading yet? I do not have that - I don’t know that - the only way to track it would be to have a legitimate trading account with forex as a forex trader – a bonifide forex trader to be able to follow that – you cannot go to xe.com or some of the others and just see it – it’s not there – it’s being traded on what we would call grey screens or back screens – for the banks
When the time is right it will be placed out on the front screens with the other currencies that we are looking to exchange when we go to our appointments at the redemption center – so that’s one piece I wanted to bring out
The next piece is we understand the President of Zimbabwe was faced with an inflation scenario and he wanted to stem and head off to the pass so he ended up saying that they would start minting gold coins for their citizens with 80-90% 22K gold in some form of coin for their people –
Now – this essentially is a gold backed Zimbabwe currency because it’s in gold coins – you know the Zimbabwe bearer bonds that we have are very very large denominations and I’m not sure – it hasn’t been spoken yet as to what size denomination if you will these coins will represent but it is something that has been started and it’s just a few days old – the information started coming out on the 24th today is the 28th of June so they are very new and fresh in getting these gold backed coins minted - the good news is we’ve got evidence that now the Zimbabwe dollar if you will – is gold backed –
Now the Zimbabwe dollar is to be on par with the US dollar which means 1-1 - 1 dollar - 1 USN – would be worth 1 zimbabwe dollar – that is what “on par” means - but the Zimbabwe dollar is no longer pegged to the United States dollar – it is separated – depart from that - that’s a good thing – so looking forward to all of these countries – not only the BRICS nations – BRICS + 12 nations and then some all having asset backed or gold backed currency that will be tradeable with our USN – and of course every time we turn around or try to find out is the USN tradeable yet?? Do we have it on the bank screens as USN a gold backed dollar?
We know the USTN’s have been printed for a while now – we know that represents a gold backed currency for us – our “new” money if you will – United States Treasury Note – no longer a fiat currency called a Federal Reserve Note – these will be currency that will be put in ATM’s – banks – all that – when the right time is known – we don’t know exactly when –
Until that time we use the fiat dollars that we have and when we spend it and we give it to the stores – the stores will actually have drop boxes to put the fiat currency in and when they turn it in to the bank the banks will deal with and we will get new USTN currency when the time is right –
In the meantime just spend out the fiat dollars that you are getting now until we get the new currency – It might take a little while – it might be the 4th of July – it could be after the 4th - maybe the 5th or 6th of July
Now we believe the goal is for us to have our start with our exchanges and zim redemption to start before the end of the month – we’ve only got a couple of days left – we might get started by the end of the month – If the notifications were to come out tomorrow and if we were to set our appointments and start on Thursday – which would be the last day of the month - it’s very conceivable –
I don’t know if we are going to get pushed or not – I don’t know I don’t have that – fortunately for us a lot of times the banks are under severe NDA”s – they are hushed – and quieted – and sometimes we get information but most of the time it’s not what we used to get – which was pretty readily – now it is a little bit tougher and we do find sometimes new sources but this is a deal where they don’t really want us to know the “when” – You know that by now -
There are plenty of forces opposing this going at all – and what we’ve got to do is get the old cabal forces within our government to be removed which they are doing that now – and move forward into our Restored Republic – which we’re also doing now
So – I’m excited about that – I’m excited about the bond holders – I’m hoping that everything goes through as we had heard - for them - by tomorrow morning – and that we could get notified on the heels of the bond holders being notified of their liquidity and access to that liquidity -

Samson: "In a quiet fire" .. a surprising and important statement by the Prime Minister's advisor about changing the dollar exchange
{Economic: Al Furat News} The financial advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, surprised the Iraqis about the possibility of changing and reducing the exchange rate of the dollar against the dinar.
Saleh said on the program “Al-Mastra” broadcast by Al-Furat satellite channel this evening: “We need to cook on a quiet fire and monitor prices until the end of 2022, oil prices and foreign reserves,” stressing that “a change in the exchange rate is possible, but it requires patience and careful study.”
He pointed out that “there are fixed facts on the ground.
The exchange rate of the dinar to the dollar follows stability, and it is not arbitrary, but rather a contract between the Central Bank of Iraq and the Ministry of Finance, because the foreign currency offer comes from the Ministry of Finance 100%, which is the only source for it in the country.”

Saleh added, “But the Central Bank deals in dollars to maintain cash reserves and prevent inflation, and the modern Iraqi financial history is witnessing cooperation in determining the dollar exchange rate between the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance.”
He stressed that “the agreement with the Ministry of Finance to set the dollar exchange rate for a period of three years, but changing it became a surprise, and it is within the shock policy, and there are limits to the change in the dollar exchange rate, and it is not a political or populist issue.”
He noted that “the first limit according to commodity prices and the market, and at that time the central bank will defend the stability of prices according to the reserve, which is the highest in its history now, and we have an encouraging surplus for the end of the year from 8 to 10 percent.”
He stressed, “If prices and financial policies fail to defend the livelihood of the poor and social protection salaries, the Central Bank will intervene by raising the purchasing power of the Central Bank through its foreign reserves.”
“It is logical that the fiscal policy has a package to defend the livelihood, relieve the poor classes and social welfare, and compensate farmers for the differentials in grain prices, and the government maintains fuel prices and government services fixed, and this stability is a kind of support that rose to 15% of GDP.”
And regarding changing the dollar exchange rate, the Prime Minister’s advisor said: “Everything is possible, but we need patience in changing the dollar exchange rate in the event of high prices and the fiscal policy is unable and monetary policy is able to cover the dinar,” noting that “the Food Security Law if it cannot secure the requirements.” In the event of an increase in prices, the central bank will intervene to preserve the strength of the dinar against the dollar.”

PhotoMan57: Could it be "just maybe" they come out at whatever rate (float) and monitor it and adjust as needed over a period of time.Just my train of thought
Tivon: Legally they can not come out at a "whatever price,. .86 is the lowest they can come out at according to Article 8 of the IMF Policy.
Again, Mazhar Muhammad shares his professional opinion as an advisor. It's not like he's campaigning against what Al-Kazemi has already requested of those 100 Deputies.
Think about they can easily come out an outright denounce or report that they will not change the rate until next year. Keep in mind Al-Kazemi just said today he wants the full force of the EFSL implemented.
The EFSL is only designed to serve as a placeholder for the budget for the remainder of 2022. They can still approve the budget even on the last week of December if they want while the the EFSL takes care the remaining five months of 2022.
They already said the 2022 budget (If Approved) will be exclusively for new projects. Everything that is in the EFSL was things that the 2021 Budget was supposed to take care of. One of them being raising the value of the Dinar.
Why would they go through all the trouble of approving the EFSL only to wait until the end of the year to utilize it when it's created to address urgent issues affecting the citizens now?
You should have paid more attention to the last line by Mazhar Muhammad. He said if the EFSL can not fulfill certain requirements the CBI will step in. So he is not against the law being implemented if push comes to shove. He was presenting a cautionary avenue they can take if they want to be 100% sure by just monitoring the markets to guage how it will behave to ensure a spike in prices doesn't damage all the planning that went into the reinstatement becoming a reality.
But guess what? You can't be 100% sure about something you haven't done in decades and are finally presented the opportunity to engage even if you have prepared meticulously.
Again, the EFSL is not created to go beyond 2022. So on a legal basis there is no wait and see pertaining to that law. And Al-Kazemi knows the law will or can not be entered into full force without reducing the USD exchange rate.
That's why he suggested at the earliest session to address the reduction. Also coming out at 1:1 is not a reduction in the USD. Its a parity price by bringing the IQD up from a program rate to match the USD.
I think Mazhar is referring to raising the IQD up from 1:1 to 3:1 is what he means by monitoring to see how the market behaves while the IQD/USD are of equal value. Then waiting until the end of 2022 to raise it beyond that is the precautionary measure he would rather take.
Think about it. He's not telling Al-Kazemi not to raise the IQD. He was only advising not to reduce the USD to much where the hard currency reserves can't cover the rate for the remainder of 2022.
So we have to ask ourselves. Are they concerned from the onset of 1:1 or 3:1 when it comes to the reduction of the USD? Can they raise the IQD at the expense of the value of the USD? 👇
And regarding changing the dollar exchange rate, the Prime Minister’s advisor said: “Everything is possible, but we need patience in changing the dollar exchange rate in the event of high prices and the fiscal policy is unable and monetary policy is able to cover the dinar,” noting that “the Food Security Law if it cannot secure the requirements.” In the event of an increase in prices, the central bank will intervene to preserve the strength of the dinar against the dollar

Lexi: You do a great job explaining things and I really appreciate your posts! -Wanted to speak up and thank you -You have made posts that I wanted to respond to, but I just smile and just think to myself...good job Tivon- IMO
Tivon: Thanks Lexi, I appreciate your feedback. I just share what makes sense to me. If it doesn't I wouldn't post anything. I started off just as clueless as the people who still are but continue to learn along the way from people who share information on pertinent issues. I have been doing this for a while so over the years I've come to know the much larger picture. Especially when you think about The BRICS Alliance. I remember Donald Trump stating at the UN General Assembly that the future is not globalism. And from what has been going since then I definitely see a return to a Constitutional Republic for most countries. IMO
Samson: A large sum of money was seized in the possession of a foreign passenger at Najaf Airport

The fifth region border guards seized a large amount of money in the possession of a foreign passenger at Najaf International Airport.
A statement of the Ministry of the Interior, which the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of, stated: "The detachments of the Komark police station at Najaf International Airport were able to seize a sum of money of 32 million and 500 thousand dinars that was in the possession of a foreign traveler."
He added, "The investigative papers and the accused were referred to the judiciary for violating the law of the Central Bank of Iraq." LINK
Ourcoin: Someone heading to Iraq getting ready to exchange? This is hilarious IMO
Tivon: There is no way he wasn't privy to the announcement made by Al-Kazemi in regards to changing the USD exchange rate some days ago. That would be the only reason I could think of as to the timing of his scheme. IMO

Samson: A government advisor sets the date for sending the 2022-2023 budgets from the government to Parliament
29th June, 2022
The financial advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, set, on Wednesday, the date for the government to send the general budget law for the year 2022 to Parliament.
Saleh told the official news agency, "If the legal situation is adapted to allow the executive authority to pass bills, it is very possible to present the 2022 budget, sequentially with the 2023 budget draft next October, provided that the first is approved before the fiscal year ends at the end of December 2022."
He added, "Next October, the draft budget law from the year 2022 will be submitted by the government to Parliament to the year 2023 according to the amended Federal Financial Management Law No. 6 of 2019". LINK
Tivon: Keep in mind what they need the 2022 Budget for. They don't need it for money. Simply because they are only willing to put an extra 25 trillion in the 2022 Budget.
More than Half of what is in the EFSL. So that should tell you they only want to approve the Budget for the Final Accounts. And the 2022/2023 Budget will be for new projects.
The EFSL is currently being used to pick up on stalled projects from the previous 2021 Budget. Why? Because that particular budget was supposed to raise the value of the IQD. But since they never formed a government last year they couldn't open it. IMO

Local news June 28, 2022 2user new2 32 Al-Kazemi: We came in exceptional circumstances and the challenges were not easy.. This is what happ 9-5-202001
Baghdad – brother Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, during the council's session, today, Tuesday, touched on the water and energy files, in addition to his visits to Saudi Arabia and Iran.
The Prime Minister’s media office published the most important thing he spoke at the session in a statement received by Khabar Press Agency (AP), which stated that “this government came in exceptional circumstances, and it worked and is still working in exceptional circumstances, and despite all these challenges it has succeeded in overcoming many From the difficulties, and the challenges were not easy, and the slogan of the government from the first day was that it is a government of words and deeds.”
He added, "We focused on the practical aspect of citizens' needs, and we succeeded in some of them, while others need more time to address them."
Speaking about the agreement with China, he continued, "A while ago, we laid the foundation stone for a project to build 1,000 schools in all governorates of Iraq, which is the first meal within the Iraqi-Chinese framework agreement."
He pointed out that "this agreement got a great deal of confusion from some parties that tried to promote the government's lack of seriousness in implementing the agreement or does not want to implement it," stressing that "the government is the one who implemented the agreement, and we started with a project of 1,000 schools out of a total of 8000 schools in all governorates." and in the form of stages.
He added, "Unfortunately, we sometimes hear campaigns in some media and social media platforms aimed at breaking the resolve of the government's work, and our response is silence. We do not want to engage in political rivalries, for the sake of Iraq and the Iraqis, and we focus on work to move towards the future."
He pointed out, "The House of Representatives voted on the law on emergency support for food security, and we must work to implement it with full force in order to serve the people, and I would like to remind that it is not a budget, but rather because we are going through an exceptional circumstance, and we, as a caretaker government, have no right to enact laws, so we resorted to The Food Security Law, which requires us to work very hard to implement it for the benefit of the Iraqis.”
Regarding the political file, Al-Kazemi stressed that “we need all political parties to cooperate with us to implement the Food Security Law, with our need for the oversight role as well, which must take place within the public interest, and not for pressure or for personal purposes, or within agendas to weaken the government.”
He pointed out that "the government is working at the end of its session, and we are waiting for the political parties to work with full force to form a government that represents the aspirations of the Iraqi people, so that it can present a vision to address these challenges," and indicated that "this government will remain in work until the last minute until the handover of its tasks to the Iraqi government."
The next government, and for this, I remind the political elites of the importance of expediting the formation of a government that does its duty, and at the same time we will work for the last moment to follow up on all the details.”
He continued, "We have commitments that we must implement and continue with, despite the many internal challenges, we have succeeded in the policy of external balance, and this was a major goal from the first moment in working to restore our relations with neighboring countries and friendly countries and with our brothers."
He stressed, "Praise be to God, we put Iraq's interest in the first place, and this balance stems from the interest of Iraq and the Iraqi people, and we will continue with this policy, and we will not go to any axis at the expense of another axis, and we put an equal distance with everyone in order to bring to Iraq investments and support, in order to compensate for what has passed."
In the past, failures, frustrations and absurd wars left their repercussions on the Iraqi people,” he explained, “what is required is to rebuild our relations on the basis of the Iraqi interest and on the basis of good faith with all partners. As for the policy of fear, isolation and mistrust with others, it is not in our policy.”
The Prime Minister said, according to the statement, "We think better of everyone so that we can reconcile with ourselves and others, and liberate us from the absurd policies that took Iraq in the past to semi-isolationist or escalatory policies with neighboring countries, and this will be part of the past."
On his foreign tour, the Prime Minister said, “My last visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran was, the first visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was very good, in which we discussed common issues, Saudi investments in Iraq and future prospects, and we talked about the electrical connection and many projects that benefit Iraqis, and the importance For the region to be stable and calm, and for Iraq to play its role in taming the atmosphere for the benefit of Iraq and the region.”
He explained, "We talked about global challenges, due to the war in Ukraine and its repercussions on food security, and how to cooperate in order to provide the needs of our peoples to provide this security." On the issue of energy and water, the Brotherhood in Iran expressed their willingness to send the Minister of Energy to Baghdad to talk about the issue of water and electric energy and solve all problems.
Al-Kazemi added, "We need to work very hard to overcome the challenges that the region is going through, affecting everyone and Iraq in the first place, and in particular the issue of climate changes, and for this I ask the competent ministers to pay attention to this aspect regarding water and climatic changes that are reflected in agriculture and the lives of citizens. And we must remember that these relations and this balance prove to the world and to the Iraqis that Iraq has a great depth in history, and its role and location are very important in helping to build relationships that serve the interest of our people.
He stressed that "Iraq is working and seeking to be part of the region and its stability, and that we cooperate with all countries in order to avoid the repercussions of the war in Ukraine in terms of food and energy security, and our work will continue until the last moment of the life of this government, until the formation of a new government, we must work." day and night to overcome all obstacles and challenges.”

Clarifying About The Names Put Forward.. A Leader In The State Of Law: We Are Discussing 6 Things To Form A Government
Sumerian special 2022-06-29 | 04:34 Source: Alsumaria news 2,143 views Alsumaria News-Baghdad: The leader of the State of Law coalition, Kazem Al-Haidari, confirmed today, Wednesday, that until this moment, no candidate from the framework for the position of Prime Minister has been put forward, and all the names that are presented are intended to be a media burn.
Al-Haidari said in an interview with Alsumaria News, “The issue of discussing names for the position of Prime Minister is inaccurate, and all the names that are presented are intended to burn those names, given that actually, until this moment, no names have been put forward, and all that is discussed and agreed upon. It is the government program, setting priorities, setting goals, the road map, the specifications of the personality that will be presented, and the mechanism through which that person is selected.
He added, "There is general agreement on the importance of having consensus within the framework house on the prime minister, so that the person is supported by a large bloc and has a motive in implementing the program required of him."
He pointed out that "the framework pushes for a consensus within the Kurdish House on the name of one candidate for the position of President of the Republic, and they have been given a time limit to reach an agreement in this regard. At that time, it is up to the members of Parliament to choose the most appropriate, but in general, the most likely option is to reach a certain understanding to put forward a third name other than the names that were previously proposed by both parties.” LINK

The Map Of The New Alliances Is Moving Forward To Form The Government
Posted On 2022-06-29 By Sotaliraq Baghdad: Muhannad Abd al-Wahhab After the concept of the “largest bloc” was realistically achieved for the Shiite coordination framework, leaders in it revealed that the latter had put in place mechanisms to resolve the prime minister’s file and move forward with the formation of the expected government, continuing pressure on the Kurdish (Democratic) and (National Union) parties to agree on the personality of the candidate for the presidency. And at a time when no official comment or statement was issued by the other political blocs regarding the demands that I put to the coordination, it was not clear what those demands were and whether they were speculation or real.
The representative of the “Extension” parliamentary bloc, Nissan Zayer, said: “After the change in the form of alliances after the withdrawal of the Sadrist movement, the level of the parliamentary map has changed, and these alliances will proceed with the formation of the government.”
She added, "The formation of the government is going on after the announcement of (the largest bloc) under the dome of Parliament and then choosing the President of the Republic who will assign it to nominate the Prime Minister," and indicated that "the new alliances will proceed after the agreements of the political blocs to lay the foundations for those agreements, including achieving the demands of the political blocs and the agreement." On new alliance formulations that adopt legal frameworks and in accordance with the constitutional mechanism.”
While the representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sherif Suleiman, indicated in an interview that “the few days that have passed with all their events changed the political map after the withdrawal of the very influential Sadrist movement from the political process because of its large fan base, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party has relations and understandings with it and will remain This understanding continues.
He added, "What happened in terms of differences and obstacles, the failure to implement the provisions of the law, and the failure to move the political process to safety brought this process to very dangerous levels, and everyone knows what stage Iraq and the region are going through due to non-compliance with the constitution."

The Wisdom Movement Resolves The Controversy Over The Dissolution Of Parliament And Early Elections
Shafaq News/ The Wisdom Movement led by Ammar al-Hakim resolved on Tuesday the controversy over dissolving the current parliament and going towards early elections, and while he indicated that the coordinating framework would present a set of criteria for choosing the next prime minister, he stressed that he would not be in its booth.
The leader of the movement, Rahim Al-Aboudi, told Shafaq News, "The Al-Hikma Movement will not participate in the next government, and we will study the options presented to choose its head, as the next stage does not bear strong barriers to forming a government."
Regarding the option of holding early elections, he explained that “the proposal for early elections is not agreed upon, and that holding early elections requires more than a year and a half at least,” noting that “the results of the elections that took place on the tenth of last October It created a political imbalance."
And regarding the meeting of the leaders of the coordination framework yesterday, Monday, Al-Aboudi said that "the meetings of the forces of the coordination framework revolve around developing a road map to draw the details of the political process in the country, given that the Shiite framework is open and seeks to achieve inter-understandings within the components of the political process (the Sunni house and the Kurdish house).” .
He pointed out that "the framework will announce or present a set of criteria for choosing or naming the next prime minister, and so far he has not specified a specific name for the prime minister, and what is happening about that are only dialogues. It is hoped that the coming days will reveal the features of the prime ministerial candidate who will definitely not be a leader." The first row for any of the Shiite political forces participating in the government."
The leader of the Al-Hikma Movement stressed that "the forces of the Shiite framework are understanding and strong and have convictions that work according to them, which inevitably serves the interest of the country."
On the role of the framework in the Kurdish understandings, Al-Aboudi said that "the framework worked seriously to activate dialogue and understanding between the two main parties (the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan) and so far there is no agreement between the two parties on the personality of the President of the Republic, but there is insistence from the Union Party to pass its candidate. Shafaq News/ A source in the comprehensive coordinating framework of the Shiite forces, with the exception of the Sadrist bloc, confirmed on Tuesday that the framework forces are working on selecting a candidate for the position of the first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives according to controls and determinants commensurate with the importance of the position.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "The deliberative meetings of the framework forces are continuing in order to complete all necessary procedures for the details of the new political process, including naming the head of the next government, as well as the alternative candidate for the first deputy speaker of Parliament, Hakim al-Zamili, who resigned from his position according to the directives of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr." ".
He explained, "It may take about ten days to select the most suitable candidate for the position of First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, after sifting through all the nominated names, because the position requires a person of distinguished political weight."
The source added that "all the names that have been promoted so far have not been decided, and we are awaiting what will result from the understandings and the inter-voting process within the framework on the most appropriate candidate, and everything rumored to the contrary is purely an interpretation."
The representative of the State of Law bloc, Aref Al-Hamami, told Shafaq News Agency, yesterday, Sunday, that "the coordination framework will hold a meeting in the coming days to agree on naming the candidate for the position of the first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives," stressing at the same time that there is no specific candidate for the presidency. the next government.
He pointed out that "there are contacts and negotiations that bring together the coordination framework with other political blocs to form the new government after the legislative holiday, specifically after Eid al-Adha."
The resignation of the Sadrist bloc’s deputies from the House of Representatives and the withdrawal of their leader Muqtada al-Sadr from the political process, confusing the political scene, which has mainly witnessed a blockage since the results of the parliamentary elections that took place in October 2021 until now.
While the coordination framework and other blocs emphasize the need to proceed with forming the new government and electing the President of the Republic, after the Sadrist replacements took the constitutional oath in an extraordinary session held by the House of Representatives on Thursday, other parties go to dissolve parliament and go to early elections. The Presidency Of The Republic Responds To Al-Sadr: Barham Salih’s Position Is Supportive Of The Palestinian Cause
Shafaq News/ The Presidency of the Republic of Iraq responded to the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, who launched an unprecedented attack on President Barham Salih earlier today, Tuesday.
A spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement received by Shafak News Agency, "The Presidency of the Republic has previously received the draft law (criminalizing normalization with the Zionist entity) sent by the House of Representatives for the purpose of completing the procedures for its issuance and ratification and in accordance with the legal and constitutional mechanisms followed by the Presidency of the laws that legislate By the House of Representatives, and the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, had directed to deal with this law in the form sent by the House of Representatives without any notice, and it was published in the Iraqi Gazette on June 20, 2022 to enter into force.

General of the United Nations.
Today, Tuesday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, said that the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, refuses to ratify the law criminalizing normalization with Israel despite its legislation by the Iraqi parliament.
Al-Sadr added in a tweet he posted on the social networking sites "Twitter", "It is very, very shameful that the so-called President of the Republic of Iraq (Barham) refuses to sign the law (criminalizing normalization), so it is shameful for the people that their president is normalizing and unpatriotic, but rather subordinating to the West. and the East".
He added, "I absolve him of this crime before God and the Iraqi people, and I regret his candidacy for the presidency before and after."
At the end of last May, the Iraqi parliament sent the law "criminalizing normalization with Israel", which was recently initiated, to the Presidency of the Republic for the purpose of ratification.
Members of the Iraqi Council of Representatives voted in favor of a proposed law to “criminalize normalization” with Israel, a law proposed by the Sadr bloc and its former allies, the “Save a Homeland” alliance, which broke apart after al-Sadr withdrew from the political process.
The new law stipulates penalties, including life or temporary imprisonment, and aims, according to its first article, to "prevent the establishment of diplomatic, political, military, economic, cultural, or any other form of relations with the occupying Zionist entity."
Article 201 of the Iraqi Penal Code stipulates that anyone who promotes the principles of Zionism, including Freemasonry, or affiliates with any of its institutions, or helps them financially or morally, or works in any way to achieve its purposes, shall be punished with death.
Iraq does not establish any relations with Israel, and the government and the majority of political forces reject normalization with it. LINK

Tishwash: World Bank: Iraq has an opportunity to diversify its economy and address the crisis of its human capital
The World Bank confirmed, on Wednesday, that Iraq has an opportunity to diversify its economy and address the human capital crisis.
The Special Representative of the World Bank in Iraq, Ramzi Neiman, said during the "Access to Finance" conference, which was attended by Shafak News Agency, that Iraq began to gradually emerge from the crisis after the contraction of its economy in the year 2020 following the decline in oil prices, noting that "the Iraqi economy grew in the year 2021." With the rise in oil prices and the increase in oil revenues.
He added, "The World Bank believes that Iraq has an opportunity to reorient the government program, diversify the economy, and address the human capital crisis in the country," noting that "the World Bank sees that the solutions lie in supporting small companies and establishing and supporting projects and companies through electronic support."
And the Iraqi state’s continuation of relying on oil as the only source of the general budget makes Iraq at risk of global crises that occur from time to time due to the impact of oil on it, which makes Iraq turn every time to cover the deficit through borrowing from abroad or inside, which thus indicates the inability to manage Effectively state funds, and the inability to find alternative financing solutions. link
