Understand That Beliefs About Money Take Hold Early

How you approach your finances as an adult goes back to what you learned about money as a child, explains Jessica Small, who works as a licensed marriage and family therapist and premarital counselor with Growing Self Counseling and Coaching.  Upbringing probably plays the biggest role in someone’s financial style,” Small said. “So much of our belief system about money is defined by the messages we received as a child and how money is talked about in our families growing up.”

Allana Pratt, an intimacy coach, relationship expert, and host of “Intimate Conversations,” also points out that early beliefs surrounding money all result in an emotional mindset that will impact how you manage money later in life. Those beliefs could stem from things like getting positive attention when you saved your allowance as a child or learning to limit your dreams because you grew up in poverty.

Action Step for Couples: Carve out time to talk about how your family of origin approached money. Spend some time exploring how your partner’s financial upbringing — as well as your own — affects how you both approach money today. It can help both of you understand the “why” behind your beliefs about money.

Realize that Finances = Feelings

It’s important to recognize that when it comes to managing money, it’s never just about the dollar signs, according to Small. How you approach money actually boils down to how you feel about money, because a lot of emotion is attached to money in our society.

“We watch how our parents or primary caregivers spend money, their emotions around money, and how they fight about money to try to make sense of the value money holds,” she said. “If we grow up in a house where anxiety is the primary emotion that is expressed around money, then we begin to associate anxiety with finances. Sometimes, we’ll replicate what we saw growing up and other times people will consciously do the direct opposite.”

Small said that because finances are so closely intertwined with feelings, whenever she sees a couple in her practice who are struggling with financial management, she always asks them one question: “What does money mean to you?”

 The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, affirmed that Iraqis aspire to justice, rule of law and an end to corruption.

In a televised speech he addressed to the Iraqi people on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), Saleh said, "Iraq is in a sensitive and dangerous phase of transformations." He added that "early elections must be dominated by confidence, far from fraud," affirming that "Iraqis aspire to justice, the rule of law and an end to corruption."

Following is the word of the text of the President:

"In the name of God the Merciful (and not of a nation claiming to do good and enjoying good and forbid evil, and those who will prosper) great truth of God, O Iraqi people proud, O Liberals in the corners of the world peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings be upon you. With the beginning of the sacred month of Muharram, and Ashura of grief for the tribe of the Prophet in the eternal catastrophe, in which Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) spent a martyr, accompanied by a knee of his family and his companions.

Their condolences. Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) was, is, and will remain immortal with his reform project and humanity, which was evident even with his enemies during the battle, immortal with his knees carrying the women of the message and his companions who varied between Arab, foreign, Christian, Roman, slave and free, and this is evidence of everyone’s revolution. Peace be upon him, for all, and he stands with everyone, in their injustice without separating race, color or sect.

On Ashura Al-Hussein, dear beloved, we are not in need of Al-Hussein's humanity, selflessness, and his standing in the face of injustice and oppression, and the support of the oppressed. Hussein is a symbol of liberation, peaceful coexistence and self-reconciliation, as he is the one who brings everyone together, he does not stand for a sect, sect or nationality, and he has transformed from a revolutionary figure to a personification of all the revolutionaries and from a believer to a symbol of faith, and from a reformer man to a symbol of reform.

So, here we are, nearing the end of June, summer just starting and... oh wait, hang on a second, this is July.

What!?! No, it's the end of August.

Almost Labor Day weekend.

The "unofficial" end of summer.

How can that be!?!

What happened to June & July?

What about all those promises of never getting to summer without seeing the release of the GCR.?

Yet here we sit, nearing the end of another summer, and still no sign of the release being released.

Not yet anyway.

How could we have floated right through an entire season and seemingly gotten nowhere.

That's quite a bit of water under the bridge.

More than too much to swallow.

Apparently I'm drowning in Dinarland and due to a severe lack of oxygen, I've been too lightheaded to even realize it.

Am I focusing too much on the RV/GCR?

Possibly. Okay, maybably. Yeah, probably.

But then again, who's to say how much is too much.

I have a few family members & friends that, for better or worse, decided to take the plunge when I first mentioned this whole RV thing but not one of them have signed up for the three hour tour to the depth that I have.

Matter of fact, while some decided to jump ship, most have chosen to remain onboard, simply choosing to tune out.

Deciding to wait for me to send the disembark signal.

Letting them know that the coast is clear, the seagull has sung, and that it's finally time to leave their bunk.

And while I sometimes struggle with it, wondering how they can remain so tuned out to the whole thing, on the other hand, I often find myself admiring their passive perspective.

Envious of their ability to just let it slide.

Somehow they're able to put the whole RV/GCR thing over in the whatever happens... whenever it happens pile and forget about it.

Living their lives as if the GCR doesn't exist.

Then there's me.

Continually working towards my GCR PHD.

Full on immersed in this thing.

Wetsuit, tanks, weight belt, mask, snorkel, big ol' swim fins, Fauxlex dive watch, you name it.

If it's GCR related, I'm wearin' it.

Without a doubt, I'm in deep, in it to win it.

I simply can't help it, needing to be as educated as possible about this whole thing.

Not only because I want to be prepared to the Nth degree for my exchange appointment but I'm one of those people that likes to know what makes things tick.

How they work behind the scenes.

What makes them "go".

Or in this case, not go.

Deeply digging for the nuggets of truth that are floating out there somewhere.

Unfortunately, the closer we get (and in spite of all we can't see, I firmly believe we are getting closer with every passing day), it's getting increasingly more and more difficult to find much of anything we can firmly rely on as being factual.

Now, is that because I've heard it all a thousand times over the past decade plus.

Or is it more because there is no visible proof of any of it actually happening.

That's a question that, despite his amazing depth of knowledge of all things going on below the surface, even the great Jacques Cousteau would have had trouble answering.

And that got me to thinking.

You know that feeling you get as you're floating in a lake, down a river, out in the ocean, anywhere where you're floating on top of the water?

Well, you're well aware there are lots of things going on under the surface.

None of which you can see.

Most of which you don't really want to know about, yet you know they're going on anyway.

Perhaps this RV/GCR thing is the very same way.

Maybe all those things we constantly hear about, things that are rumored to be happening behind the scenes, really are going on.

The water being far too murky for us to see them.

It isn't until we approach the shore, jumping ship as it were, that our feet touch bottom.

And it's at that exact moment we instantly realize that there truly are things going on under the surface.

Gooey, gushy things that instantly send a super squirmy feeling up our spines.

As those things come oozing out from under our feet and in between our toes, the reality of what's happening down below becomes impossible to ignore.

Which in turn speeds up our pace, as well as our heart rate, causing us to quicken our pace as we quickly speed to shore.

And that is what I hope is happening with the whole RV/GCR thing.

I'm hoping that the closer we get to the release, the closer they are to dealing with the last of the squishy stuff between their toes and they're nearing the eelgrass on the very edge of the release.

If they're still stuck in the squishy stuff, let's hope that's enough to freak 'em out and cause them to pick up the pace.

The one thing we do know is that we're all in this together, heading downstream towards the shore.

Just continue to do whatever it is you need to do to keep your boat afloat and don't allow anyone to poke a hole in your dreams.

I'm not giving up the ship anytime soon and I certainly hope you won't either.

Ali Tariq: Workers in the private sector are the most affected by the Corona pandemic

Money  and business  Economy News – Baghdad  The executive director of the Iraqi Private Banks Association, Ali Tariq, said, Saturday, that workers in the private sector are the most affected by the Corona pandemic that has struck the sectors of the Iraqi economy.

In an electronic workshop broadcast by the "dialogue" platform and managed by the economist Anas Morshed, and followed by "Al-Iktissad News", Tariq added that supporting small and medium enterprises is one of the solutions that the banking sector adopted during the Corona crisis.

He pointed out that the employers were thinking "unilateral" during the crisis towards achieving profits, forgetting the rights of their workers, pointing out that the private sector in Iraq needs to enact laws that regulate its work more and guarantee the right of the worker and the employer.

Forming A Ministerial Committee To Prepare A Database For Foreign Workers

Today, Sunday, August 30, 2020, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the formation of a ministerial committee to prepare a database for foreign workers.

"A ministerial committee has been formed at the request of Parliament, and is in charge of preparing a database for foreigners working in Iraq," ministry spokesman Najm al-Oqabi said in a press statement.

"The committee consists of representatives of the ministries and bodies concerned with this file, so that there is a clear picture of their number and whereabouts," Al-Uqabi added.

With regard to the fake offices, he emphasized that "there is a joint committee of intelligence and the ministries of labor and the interior, to close and hold accountable the fictitious employment offices for the recruitment of foreign workers, and contribute to the blackmail of citizens," indicating that "there are official offices and companies that have official licenses from the Ministry of Labor." When Iraq invaded Kuwait in August of 1990, the value of the Kuwaiti dinar dropped to about 5 cents. In other words, it took 20 Kuwaiti dinars to buy one dollar.

In February of 1991 Iraq was expelled from Kuwait, and a month later, the banks revalued their currency to $3.47, the highest valued currency in the world. When this occurred, the New York Times reported the event on March 25, 1991.

It still has no water and little electricity or food, but Kuwait revived its banking system today, introducing a new currency.

Banks reopened for the first time since Iraqi occupation forces shut them down in December. Thousands of people lined up to exchange their old Kuwaiti dinars for crisp new ones and to withdraw a limited amount of money....

All other old dinars can be exchanged for new ones on a one-to-one rate until May 7, when the old dinars become invalid. The new official exchange rate is 3.47 American dollars for one new Kuwaiti dinar.

At the same time, the UN put Iraq under trade sanctions, crashing the value of the Iraqi dinar (IQD) from $3.22 to about 4000 to the dollar. Their currency could only be spent in Iraq itself, and people had to carry around wads of 25,000 dinar notes to buy groceries.

Then in 2003 coalition forces invaded Iraq and overthrew Saddam Hussein. By 2004 we gave them a new currency without Saddam's picture on it. The value soon doubled and went up to 2000 to the dollar. A few years ago the Central Bank of Iraq managed to stabilize the value at 1166 per dollar.

On June 27, 2013 the UN removed Iraq from Chapter VII sanctions, allowing Iraq to regain control of close to $80 Billion in frozen funds that had been sitting in western banks since 1990. This also allowed Iraq to be reinstated on the world's banking network, as soon as they are ready. At the same time many expect to see the IQD revalued at or near its former position.

As best as I can tell, this international censorship of 95% of the news, social media and the internet is the reason why the RV / GCR has yet to occur. Although the Deep State / Cabal is certainly bloodied and beaten, they are obviously not completely defeated. To date, there is still the possibility of significant chaos, retaliation, and insurrection.

It's not enough for POTUS is use the current communication systems to announce " My Fellow Americans... The Storm Is Upon Us!". It wouldn't be effective. The Deep State, the real "hidden enemy", is simply too entrenched in government, in the media, in banking, business, and law enforcement.

The Good News:

Click on the Safe Website and put in the zip code in which you live or in which you want to exchange / redeem. After you log into the Safe Link Website you will be asked some qualifying questions that tells them whom you are (like when you open a bank account). That would then generate an 800 number based on what location you put in. A unique code would be generated with the 800# for each currency holder and that code would be your unique ID code for your appointment. Those who used the general 800# from Intel sites would be given their unique code from the Call Center representatives.
